Synthetic Aperture Radar Systems
Synthetic Aperture Radar systems can operate on all-weather to in extensive area imaging, which are suitable for the climate of Taiwan. The radar can be carried by aircrafts or satellites to support disaster survey and rescue, scientific research, and environmental monitoring.
Synthetic Aperture Radar is an imaging radar with high resolution, and by using signals of wide modulation bandwidth and combining the returned signals of a virtual antenna along flight path, it will obtain the required high resolution information both in azimuth and range.
