Joint Synthetic Battlespace
The Joint Synthetic Battlespace is constructed as a common virtual training environment by integrating live training systems, constructive simulation systems, virtual training systems and C4 systems via High Level Architecture (HLA) or Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) standard and high-speed networking. This integrated training framework is constructed to provide highly realistic joint combat training capability.
According to MND's concept of development of JSB, all the simulation products of NCSIST are either HLA or DIS compatible and integrated to construct various prototype JSB systems. Following the roadmap proposed by MND, NCSIST will expand JSB applications to include the aspects of economy, security, society, joint training and future application issues.
