The Laboratory of HILS
The laboratory of HILS (Hardware In the Loop Simulation) conducts the experiments by substituting the hardware of the Unit Under Test (UUT) for its model in the simulation closed loop. The simulation computers, as the control center, calculate the mathematical models, and communicate with the UUT and associated simulators through the controlled interface in real time. The UUT is undergone a dynamic test in a high-fidelity environment through its mission time, and its overall performance is evaluated.
The facilities of RFSS（Radio Frequency Simulation System） and IRSS（InfraRed Simulation System） in the laboratory support the test and evaluation of guided weapon systems throughout their life cycles.
The critical technologies of the laboratory include establishing and operating of the facilities, planning and carrying out the integrated tests and analyzing the results, modeling of 6 DOF and target characteristics, programming and interface design of real time systems, modeling and analysis of EM effect, and real time visualization of the trajectories, etc.
