The Low Probability of Intercept (LPI ) Navigation Radar
The Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) navigation radar is a ship-boarded radar, which has the capability of search and track-while-search of the surface targets (ships) . The LPI radar system has the characteristics of nearly zero radar blind zone and high range resolution. Therefore, it can provide clear radar map of terrain return and simultaneously develop the track files of target. The LPI radar system can gather other navigation data from ship speed Log, Gyrocompass, and GPS, to achieve the maritime navigation purpose.
