Albatross II UAV
Albatross II is designed specifically for maritime ISR missions, which is capable of all-weather operations, and able to identify maritime vessels. It can provide intelligence to the command and management system to establish a common operation picture, effectively grasp the dynamics of the surrounding waters, and achieve the purpose of target identification and early warning. It also can carry buoy pods or attack drones based on requirements, and use with “communication and management system”, “Hybrid-Aquatic-Aerial Vehicle” and “laser calibrator” which enable underwater reconnaissance mission or air-to-surface strike operations.
Overview:
1. It has a high-magnification optical thermal imager, AIS signals, radar, electronic reconnaissance and other payloads to quickly identify and track targets.
2. It uses a certified engine and dual navigation control system to improve reliability. It also has automatic take-off and landing and AI-assisted recognition capabilities, with a flight distance of more than 300 km and a flight time of more than 16 hours, which provides anti-ship missile targeting and extended strike range.
3. It can carry buoy pods or Might Hornet I attack drones based on requirements, which enable joint combat operations and underwater reconnaissance mission or support air-to-surface strike operations through microwave links and amphibious drone relay stations. It making full use of the drone’s long-term hovering characteristics and increasing mission flexibility.
