(1)The Structure and Materials Test Lab.
The Structure and Materials Test Lab. was established to support the tests of metals, composite, chemistry, rubber, etc. in ASRD, CSIST. The Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (TAF) certificate of accreditation was acquired in 1994, Accreditation Number: TAF-0091.
The certification of several U.S. aircraft and engine companies was also acquired. In 2005, ASRD passed the PRI / Nadcap accreditation and certified as the GEAE supplier. The accreditation of Allied-Signal for 41 materials tests, Pratt & Whitney for 16 materials tests and Boeing for 4 materials tests were achieved.
(2)Calibration Lab.
In 2015, the Calibration Laboratory began operations and obtained TAF Accreditation No.3011 to meet the growing demand for calibration services, satisfy customer requirements, and strengthen product quality control. The laboratory mainly calibrates pressure transducers as its accredited item. In addition to its existing accredited items, the laboratory will introduce additional calibration items in the future as needed to help implement and effectively operate the quality management system for aerospace products.
