Mighty Hornet Ⅳ

Mighty Hornet Ⅳ

Mighty Hornet Ⅳ is jointly developed by NCSIST and Kratos. Based on MQM178Q Firejet, it has been reconfigured into a low-cost, high-speed attack drone by integrating NCSIST proven in-house components, including the warhead, electro-optical payload, and datalink modules. Depending on mission requirements, it can lock onto enemy helicopter or landing craft for precision strikes, effectively paralyzing or delaying enemy movements. Alternatively, it can coordinate with drones jointly executing combined operations missions; depleting enemy landing weapons allow us to execute operational missions.

Overview:
1. Mobility and Rapid Deployment. The system utilizes containerized mobility for storage, transportation, and loading of the launch platform and UAVs. Not limited by terrain, the system assembly and setup can be completed in a short time, enhancing the mobility and flexibility of system deployment and operation.

2. External Mounted Warhead Capability. The system has the ability to carry external payloads, providing more flexible weapon configurations and enhancing rapid preparation efficiency. It can quickly adjust payload configurations to adapt to different environments and target types.

3. Modular Design. Various targeting configurations can be integrated. Depending on mission requirements, it can lock onto enemy landing weapons for precision strikes.
