Composite armors
The composite armor is the derivative application of the advanced metal and ceramic material technologies developed by NCSIST. The product meets both military and civilian ballistic protection standards and can be used for vehicles, helicopters, naval vessels, and personal protective equipment. The vehicle composite armor composed of high-hardness steel plates and ballistic ceramic modules is mainly used for the upper and lower glacis plates and frontal sections of combat vehicle hulls and turrets, and is capable of withstanding autocannon attacks and enhancing protective capabilities of combat vehicles. The protective shield composed of ballistic ceramic modules can resist rifle armor-piercing rounds and safeguard the lives of military personnel.
