Hush House for Engine Test

The hush house is used for aircraft engine testing which is installed in aircraft or mounted on a test stand. In addition to supply sufficient air flow to engine, major system function is noise suppression of engine testing to meet environment protection laws, decrease public grievance, increasing engine testing time flexibility and raise logistic maintenance capability.
The hush house has been built in Taitung air force base, which is applied to aircraft testing with maximum thrust up to 30,000lbs, including current serving fighters M2000, F16, IDF, and F5E. The noise level can be decreased from 140dBA to 75dBA.
