UAV Ground Control Stations

UAV Ground Control Stations

The ground control station (GCS) is a control center providing necessary controlling functions to operate unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). By using microwave communication system, the GCS can provide instantly flight controls and payload controls of UAVs, such as aperture adjusting and direction controlling of camera. The GCS also receives the downlink data in real time, including flight data, status of aircraft and payload, reconnaissance information and so on. The GCS can also execute mission planning, flight simulation, flight path and UAV status display, reconnaissance intelligence, C2 interfacing, mission commanding, and etc.

• Civil applications: Control center of marine patrols, disaster prevention and relief, agriculture, fishery,

   and land surveys, and etc.
• Military applications: Control center of unmanned systems, including UAV, UUV, and UGV, to execute

target searching and tracking, battle damage assessments and communication relays.
