E-seal Monitoring System
“E-seal Monitoring System” is the key project which the Directorate General of Customs promotes this year. The project is directed to the import/ export/transshipment containers. By using technologies such as active/passive E-seals, handheld readers, and Characteristic Image System to combine with the Management Information System of the Harbor Bureau, the Customs can carry out a container/cargo movement security mechanism which meets WCO SAFE. In addition to monitor cargo movement and storage between each node, it can also improve the security of containers/cargo which are moved in the end-to-end supply chain, accelerate logistics speed, reduce the costs of industries, and create the international competitiveness.
